A-LAM-COR Inc. Limited One-Year Warranty

A-LAM-COR Inc. warrants that products manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc. will be free from defects in workmanship under normal interior use and service for a period of one year from the date of invoice, customer pickup, or release of the product to the customer, whichever occurs first.

This limited warranty applies only to products manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc. and sold to the original purchaser. It is not transferable.

Products Covered

This warranty applies to custom products manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc., including, but not limited to:
Cabinet components
Cabinet doors
Drawer fronts
Panels
Laminated and Veneered Doors
Countertops
Laminate products
Veneer products
Wood, laminate, melamine, and composite-material assemblies

Materials manufactured by third-party suppliers, including laminate, veneer, hardware, decorative panels, plywood, MDF, particleboard, edge banding, adhesives, finishes, and other components, may also be subject to the original manufacturer’s warranty. A-LAM-COR Inc. does not extend or modify any third-party manufacturer’s warranty.

No Shipping Policy

A-LAM-COR Inc. does not ship products by freight carrier, parcel carrier, common carrier, third-party delivery service, or any other shipping method. This policy is intended to reduce the risk of damage, mishandling, storage exposure, and liability once products leave A-LAM-COR Inc.’s possession.
All products are made available for customer pickup only, unless otherwise agreed in writing by A-LAM-COR Inc.

If the customer, contractor, installer, or any third party arranges transportation, delivery, courier service, freight service, or pickup of the product, such transportation is entirely the customer’s responsibility. A-LAM-COR Inc. is not responsible for damage, loss, delay, environmental exposure, mishandling, improper loading, improper securing, or impact damage that occurs after the product is released for pickup or leaves A-LAM-COR Inc.’s possession.
Any assistance provided by A-LAM-COR Inc. with loading is provided as a courtesy only. The customer or receiving party remains responsible for inspecting the product, protecting finished surfaces, securing the load, selecting suitable transportation, and transporting the product safely and appropriately.

Warranty Remedy

If a covered product is found to be defective due to A-LAM-COR Inc.’s workmanship during the warranty period
period, A-LAM-COR Inc., at its sole discretion, may repair the product, replace the product, or remake the
affected component, or issue a credit not exceeding the original purchase price of the affected product.
This warranty does not cover removal, reinstallation, field labor, finishing by others, transportation charges,
delivery charges, lost time, loss of use, project delays, consequential damages, or incidental damages.

Inspection Upon Pickup

All products must be inspected at the time of customer pickup or release. Any visible damage, shortage, or product discrepancy must be reported to A-LAM-COR Inc. before the product leaves A-LAM-COR Inc.’s possession.
Once the product has been picked up, loaded, transported, moved, stored, handled, installed, modified, or
exposed to jobsite conditions outside A-LAM-COR Inc.’s control, damage may not be covered by this
warranty.

Storage and Handling Requirements

After pickup or release of the product, the customer, contractor, installer, or receiving party is responsible
for proper handling and storage of all products. Products must be stored indoors in a clean, dry, temperature-controlled environment. Products should not be stored outdoors, in direct sunlight, in unconditioned buildings, in vehicles, near exterior walls, on bare concrete floors, or in areas exposed to excessive heat, cold, moisture, high humidity, low humidity, water, chemicals, dust, dirt, or construction debris.

Products should be stored flat and properly supported, unless otherwise directed. Long panels, doors,
veneer products, laminated products, and finished components must be supported in a manner that
prevents bowing, twisting, sagging, or stress on the material. Products should not be leaned at steep angles, stacked unevenly, or placed where they may be impacted by other trades, equipment, tools, or
construction materials.

Finished surfaces must be protected from scratches, abrasion, dents, adhesive residue, tape residue, and impact
damage, moisture, heat, and prolonged exposure to sunlight or UV light.

A-LAM-COR Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by improper pickup, loading, transportation, storage,
handling, jobsite conditions, or environmental exposure after the product leaves A-LAM-COR Inc.’s
possession.

Humidity, Temperature, and Environmental Conditions

Wood, veneer, laminate, MDF, particleboard, plywood, melamine, and other composite materials can expand, contract, warp, twist, cup, crack, delaminate, or otherwise change when exposed to improper humidity, moisture, heat, cold, direct sunlight, or sudden environmental changes.

Products must be stored and installed in a stable interior environment suitable for finished cabinetry and architectural millwork. Excessive humidity, low humidity, rapid changes in humidity, excessive heat, prolonged dryness, direct sunlight, water exposure, leaks, wet trades, or unconditioned jobsite conditions may damage the product and void this warranty.

This warranty does not cover movement, warping, cracking, swelling, shrinking, open joints, delamination, finish changes, color changes, telegraphing, veneer checking, edge lifting, or other damage caused by environmental conditions outside A-LAM-COR Inc.’s control.

Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
Transportation, pickup, loading, unloading, or handling after the product leaves A-LAM-COR Inc.
Customer-arranged delivery, courier service, freight service, or third-party transportation
Improper storage or jobsite conditions
Exposure to water, moisture, high humidity, low humidity, excessive heat, excessive cold, or direct sunlight
Impact damage, dents, scratches, abrasion, or misuse
Installation by others
Field modification, cutting, trimming, drilling, sanding, machining, or finishing by others
Improper cleaning products, solvents, chemicals, oils, abrasive pads, or harsh cleaners
Normal wear and tear
Natural variation in wood, veneer, grain, color, texture, or sheen
Color change caused by UV exposure, natural aging, oxidation, or lighting conditions
Damage caused by plumbing leaks, roof leaks, HVAC failure, construction moisture, or wet trades
Failure of materials supplied by the customer
Failure of third-party materials or components not manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc.
Products installed in exterior, damp, wet, marine, or non-climate-controlled environments unless specifically approved in writing by A-LAM-COR Inc.
Products altered, repaired, refinished, or reworked by others without written approval from A-LAM-COR Inc.

Customer-Supplied Materials

When A-LAM-COR Inc. fabricates, laminates, cuts, machines, bonds, or assembles materials supplied by the customer, the customer is responsible for verifying that the supplied materials are suitable for the intended use, substrate, adhesive, fabrication method, storage conditions, and installation environment.

A-LAM-COR Inc. is not responsible for defects, failure, instability, delamination, discoloration, warping, cracking, veneer movement, laminate movement, or other issues caused by customer-supplied materials, manufacturer defects, improper material selection, or incompatibility between materials.

Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must contact A-LAM-COR Inc. in writing during the warranty period and provide:
Original invoice or order information
Description of the issue
Photographs of the affected product
Photographs showing the storage, installation, or surrounding jobsite conditions
Date the issue was first noticed
A-LAM-COR Inc. reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any warranty remedy. No repair, replacement, credit, or remake will be provided unless the claim is reviewed and approved by A-LAM-COR Inc.

Limitation of Liability

This limited warranty is the sole warranty provided by A-LAM-COR Inc. No employee, representative, contractor, installer, dealer, or other party is authorized to modify or extend this warranty unless approved in writing by A-LAM-COR Inc.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A-LAM-COR Inc. shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, special, indirect, or punitive damages, including but not limited to labor costs, removal costs, installation costs, transportation costs, project delays, loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to other property.

A-LAM-COR Inc.’s maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the affected product manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc.

Important Notice

Wood-based, laminate, veneer, and composite products require proper handling, pickup, transportation, storage, installation, and environmental control. Failure to maintain suitable conditions may result in product damage and may void this warranty.
