A-LAM-COR Inc. Limited One-Year Warranty & Terms and Conditions of Sale

For commercial cabinetry, door lamination, and related products manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc., this limited warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal interior use for one year from invoice date, customer pickup, or product release—whichever occurs first.

This warranty applies only to products manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc. and sold to the original purchaser. It is not transferable.

Products Covered

Covered products include custom cabinet components, cabinet doors, drawer fronts, panels, laminated and veneered doors, countertops, laminate products, veneer products, and wood, laminate, melamine, and composite-material assemblies manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc.

Third-party materials and components may be covered only by the original manufacturer’s warranty. A-LAM-COR Inc. does not extend or modify third-party warranties.

No Shipping Policy

A-LAM-COR Inc. does not ship products by freight, parcel, common carrier, courier, or third-party delivery service. Products are available for customer pickup only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once a customer, contractor, installer, or third party arranges pickup or transportation, all responsibility for loading, securing, transport, and protection of the product transfers to the customer. A-LAM-COR Inc. is not responsible for damage, loss, delay, or environmental exposure after the product leaves its possession.

Warranty Remedy

If a covered product is found to be defective due to A-LAM-COR Inc.’s workmanship during the warranty period, A-LAM-COR Inc. may, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, remake the affected component, or issue a credit up to the original purchase price of the affected product.

This warranty does not cover removal, reinstallation, field labor, finishing by others, transportation, delivery charges, lost time, loss of use, project delays, incidental damages, or consequential damages.

Inspection Upon Pickup

All products must be inspected at pickup or release. Visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be reported before the product leaves A-LAM-COR Inc.’s possession.

After pickup, loading, transport, storage, handling, installation, modification, or exposure to jobsite conditions outside A-LAM-COR Inc.’s control, resulting damage may not be covered.

Storage and Handling Requirements

After pickup or release, the customer, contractor, installer, or receiving party is responsible for proper storage and handling. Products must be stored indoors in a clean, dry, temperature-controlled environment.

Products should be properly supported and protected from bowing, twisting, sagging, scratches, dents, moisture, heat, sunlight, UV exposure, dust, chemicals, and jobsite damage.

A-LAM-COR Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by improper pickup, loading, transportation, storage, handling, jobsite conditions, or environmental exposure after release.

Humidity, Temperature, and Environmental Conditions

Wood, veneer, laminate, MDF, particleboard, plywood, melamine, and other composite materials may expand, contract, warp, crack, delaminate, or change when exposed to improper humidity, moisture, heat, cold, sunlight, or sudden environmental changes.

Products must be stored and installed in a stable interior environment suitable for finished cabinetry and architectural millwork. Damage caused by environmental conditions outside A-LAM-COR Inc.’s control is not covered.

Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by transportation after release, customer-arranged delivery, improper storage, jobsite conditions, water or moisture exposure, impact damage, misuse, installation by others, field modification, harsh cleaning products, normal wear and tear, natural variation in wood or veneer, UV-related color change, plumbing or roof leaks, HVAC failure, wet trades, customer-supplied materials, or failure of third-party materials or components.

Customer-Supplied Materials

When A-LAM-COR Inc. fabricates or laminates customer-supplied materials, the customer is responsible for confirming that those materials are suitable for the intended use, fabrication method, storage conditions, and installation environment.

A-LAM-COR Inc. is not responsible for defects, incompatibility, instability, delamination, discoloration, warping, cracking, or other issues caused by customer-supplied materials.

Claims Process

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing during the warranty period and include the original invoice or order information, a description of the issue, photographs of the affected product, photographs of storage or jobsite conditions, and the date the issue was first noticed.

A-LAM-COR Inc. reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any remedy.

Limitation of Liability

This limited warranty is the sole warranty provided by A-LAM-COR Inc. No modification or extension is valid unless approved in writing by A-LAM-COR Inc.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A-LAM-COR Inc. is not liable for incidental, consequential, special, indirect, or punitive damages. Maximum liability will not exceed the original purchase price of the affected product manufactured by A-LAM-COR Inc.

Important Notice

Wood-based, laminate, veneer, and composite products require proper pickup, transportation, storage, installation, and environmental control. Failure to maintain suitable conditions may cause damage and may void this warranty.

Estimate Terms and Conditions of Sale

All estimates are expressly conditioned on the buyer’s acceptance of A-LAM-COR, Inc.’s terms. Conflicting purchase order terms, portal terms, or general purchasing terms are rejected unless accepted in writing by A-LAM-COR, Inc.

Pricing is based only on the material, quantity, size, color, finish, thickness, and scope listed in the estimate. Changes may require revised pricing and lead times.

Factory-order, special-order, and cut-to-size laminate is non-cancellable and non-returnable once ordered, received, or processed. Lead times are estimates only and are subject to manufacturer availability and production schedules.

Laminate material warranties are limited to any pass-through warranty provided by the original manufacturer. Buyer must inspect all material immediately upon receipt and before cutting, fabrication, installation, or further handling. Visible damage, shortages, incorrect items, or handling damage must be reported in writing within 3 business days of delivery, with photos and original packaging retained.

A-LAM-COR, Inc.’s liability is limited to replacement of the affected material or credit for the purchase price of the affected material, at A-LAM-COR, Inc.’s discretion. No back charges, offsets, deductions, chargebacks, expedited freight charges, or warranty claims may be taken against invoices without prior written approval.

Payment terms are as stated on the estimate. Orders may require deposit, prepayment, or written purchase order acceptance before factory material is ordered or cut-to-size material is processed.
